Every dumpster trailer includes a weight allowance (2–3 tons depending on size). Go over and you pay overage fees per ton. This calculator uses published density figures for common debris types so you can estimate tonnage before you load — and size the trailer correctly the first time.

When in doubt, split heavy loads
If you're disposing of concrete, dirt, or a large shingle tear-off, ask us about a dedicated heavy-debris trailer. A smaller trailer loaded with dense material is cheaper than overage fees on a large one.
